Michelada - Cabo San Lucas

Oops, the gringo in the crowd, I know they were busy, so I sat at the bar, hopefully to get a beer, while waiting for the delicious pozole, and I'm telling you I'm from Colorado I have many Mexican friends, we don't care of color. Honestly I received no respect, he looked at me as he got drinks, after 25 minutes, I'm local, I like cerveza as well, I decided to give up on cerveza, go up front and order, sat there , like out of place till food was ready. My friend,who, you all know at restaurant, recommended me there, and was embarrassed you treat gringos that way. I have a heart and feelings as well as you. Also love great food. is it normal to wait an hour and 20 minutes for the pozole? Be honest

This Mexican restaurant have the very authentic green pozole of Guerrero and the best Michaeladas..

I asked my snorkel tour operator where I could find good pozole in Cabo, he recommended us La Michelada and just gave us directions to find this little jewel of a restaurant. We found the restaurant easily after a short walk from the guest house. I could say of the location and style that it would be one of these great local finds that the average tourist would not go, so I knew it would probably not be disappointed with food taste and options, as so many of the tourist places tend to be. The atmosphere was causal and the service was fantastic despite my lack of Spanish and her lack of English, it was not our ability to order and enjoy the food. Unfortunately, they only serve on Thursday Pozole and special occasions, so with a slightly broken heart, I ended another plate that does not disappoint. I can't remember the name of the plate I ordered, it was an alambre with pollen.... forgive my lack of Spanish. The flavors were rich and spice and most authentic. I would recommend the restaurant to everyone and would go back to Cabo again.
