Intimate setting overlooking Caerphilly castle at night adds to the experience. Very kind staff. Being able to bring your own soft drinks and alcohol really reduced the cost of eating out. See you again and thank you.
We were a group of 5 that turned up and had a brilliant service from the management from telling us where to get alcohol from we are from outside of the area and they do no alcohol), the staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was excellent, I asked for a specific medium to hot curry and it was delivered as requested. The table service was excellent and would do anything you requested from glasses of water to increasing the heat of you curry if you wished, This is a curry house that is a brilliant place but possibly in the wrong location for people to appreciate.
I want to commend this restaurant for its warm reception and exceptional customer service. The staff were attentive, ensuring the food was delicious and offering a very friendly service. I enjoy a variety of cuisines, but have a special fondness for Indian food. The quality was top-notch, the flavors were clean and tasty, reminiscent of some of the fantastic Indian restaurants in West London where I reside. The atmosphere was pleasant, with authentic music and a very clean dining area.
My wife and I enjoyed a meal at this restaurant as a special treat on Saturday night. We had dined here the previous week with friends and had a fantastic meal. Tonight, we enjoyed a special biryani and tikka masala, along with delicious food and complimentary poppadums. The service was exceptional, we couldn't fault any of it. We will definitely be returning.
The food and service at this restaurant were exceptional, surpassing my expectations. I used to frequent Castle Gate in Caerphilly, but in recent times, it has become dull and overpriced, which is disappointing. I will be returning to the Raj of India soon instead.
