Contribuer aux commentairesBaco is very rough and ready, but not sincerely cheap or good value. The dining area inside is basically / a bit grubby, but outside you are suffering serious vapours from the passing traffic. The menu is extensive, but badly executed mustard chicken is simply...a tough, dry chicken with grain mustard placed above. My wife's pizza found her very poor. Long wine list, but usually not available, so we were stored with some expensive garbage that is not correct. Would definitely not go back.
Honestly it is obviously hard to find good food in Cafayate. It is all about wine (which is good, no doubt) the rest here is tourism meck around and the food if poor quality Here at baco you’ll find poor food. I don’t think that...they are cooking on site. The best is that the Staff is arrogant. And they wonder why we gave no tip. Unbelievable experience! Avoid this place! The flank steak was stiff and pretty sinewy so we had left overs. Complaints were addressed because the price is pretty high. No excuses! The meat they serve is regional and of best quality.... that’s all they say?
Big spacious room with interesting things on the wall. The waiter couldn't have been nicer and more helpful, but the food really was awful. Being vegetarian we often struggle, so it could be that the meat options were tasty. But the two pasta dishes we...ordered were absolutely tasteless and bland, and the mushrooms tasted like they had come out of a tin. The pizza was luke warm, solid and greasy and we could barely see the Roquefort on the Roquefort pizza.... all in all a pretty horrible meal. Bathroom was also disgusting. Did not get the best sense of hygiene from this place. Would not recommend.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere. The food was really good and the location to town was nice. Great choice if you have a small group.
We (group of 4) were looking for a pizza and this restaurante seemed like the best alternative, at least it had customers at the restaurant. Service started a little rough but it improved over dinner. Pizzas were just about average, beer was nice and cold,...we brought a bottle of a nice wine we had just bought at a wine shop across the street. They charged a reasonable corkage fee.
