Very consistent with the other Globefish locations, the food is exceptional. I think this is the best sushi in the city. You have to try the Vancouver roll...

I have ordered from Globefish from time to time over the years and they are generally OK. This time, it was probably a bit off par from where they usually are. We got rolls to share which included the: happy crunch, MT Fuji, tsunami salmon, black pearl, sexy in the city, negitoro, and BC roll.Overall, the ideas on the flavors are good but the execution was not quite there. Some of the main points: 1) The fish in the poorly made rolls would make up 10% of the bite so it was very difficult to appreciate the seafood itself. 2) Most of the time, the roll was heavy on rice which made the bite more bland and the balance was not there. 3) The seafood itself, particularly the scallop, was not very fresh as it was missing the sweetness expected from eating it. Instead it tasted a bit more 'fishy '.At this price point, Globefish would not be my first choice.
