But the patio has a wonderful, slightly decaying, Love in the Time of Cholera feel, like eating in Cartagena 50 years ago, very evocative and romantic. The food is what brought us back the second time. The "seafood explosion" soup is one of the richest broths I've had and thick with shell fish. The Posto Negro is an amazing beef marinated in a caramelized sauce unlike anything we've ever eaten. My husband was scraping every last drop from the plate. Don't miss this one.
We went there for dinner and were pleasantly surprised with the patio area and how nice the restaurant was. while we waited for our table, we were not allowed to order a cocktail, which was very strange. When our food arrived, it was really really bad. Not going back anytime soon!
Looking around we found this place. We went for the posta and ceviche peruano. Nice presentation with awesome seasoning. Good service too.
Our Hotel recommended and they were right on. We went for lunch and had a terrific meal served in the courtyard. So happy our hotel made this recommendation. The restaurant is bright, colorful with really great lighting streaking through the trees above. The lighting is so good here that my wife was actually able to get a decent photo of me, and I take the worst photos on the planet. The food was light, fresh and delicious and our waitress was very nice and cheerful. Everything about this place just puts you in a good mood.
Fresh and tasty seafood. Reasonable price. Don't let the old fashion lights around the palm tree fool you. Once you are in you will feel the good vibe of this restaurant.
