Very cozy atmosphere and talented musicians. The food was sensational.
I would recommend you stay far away from this place. Fortunately D.C. has a lot of options for jazz music, so that you don’t have to subject yourself to this unprofessional and unorganized shoebox of a venue. The staff is rude and unhelpful, the food is flavorless at best, and the space itself has the charm of a jail cell. Here’s my overall recommendation don’t waste your money buying tickets to a show, (because apparently buying tickets doesn’t guarantee seats) get there about two hours before the show starts and you should be set.
The atmosphere and music is always magical. The food just has to catch up. The service is good.
Had a great time here with a friend. It was a total vibe. The crab balls were particularly delicious.
