Contribuer aux commentairesWe came back in lido di camaiore from florenz looking for a beautiful pizzaria or trattoria. la lanterna seemed very traditional and we had a friendly reception from our waiter. we chose to roasted sea bass and sweet, which was very tasty. my appetizer. the fish soup was however the main attraction. large bold aromen, generous part of muscheln, muscheln, sampi and prawns with wonderful crispy garlick croystini. to have a fantastic dish at the sea!
If they want to praise bad Italian foods that are in order and a very raised wine list this is the place for them. the old saying when the menu comes in three languages, goes and what we should do
Expect to find a cozy, friendly, typical and particularly tasty restaurant. but only that was true, had to wait too long before they took our order. Although we were only four, our dishes arrived in separate moments, so we didn't even have the chance to eat together (about 45 minutes between the first and the last person served.) the exhausted beer was not cold (and expensive.) they brought a bottle of drinking water, but with a sparkle in it. at a certain moment they simply threw a plaque with pommes on our table, as the waiter did not remember whether it was for us or the table next to us (and she had no geduld to wait for a response) the fish fillet with fine crawling I had was quite ruiend, as he was so much dampened that he had no structure anymore. the pizza was small for their price (especially in comparison to other restaurants in the environment we visited) and if only the staff was friendly and helpful, I would consider it an additional point. but as they were not. in general: avoid a place!
We did not know anything about this restaurant when we were traveling through the area. The service was impeccable, the wines were Italian and delightful, the atmosphere is perhaps a bit heavy, but the food is terrific. Our server, Andrea, prepared and served freshest fish...for us. The vegetables and sauces were incredible. A hidden treat that we would gladly visit again and again.
Having just arrived on the coast and searching for an off-the-main-drag' eating establishment, we stumbled upon this charming little restaurant, with wonderful ambience. The waitress spoke little English, but when asked what she would recommend, without hesitation, she said, the fish Well, let me tell...you, the fish was superbly prepared in a delicious sauce, accompanied by a medley of grilled fresh vegetables. It was filleted right there at our table. And the taste, well, I HAVE NEVER HAD A MORE DELICIOUS FISH DINNER than I had that night...simply outstanding! I would eat that fish seven nights a week, and twice on Sundays!
