The food was delicious and flavorful; they definitely know how to make a great burger! Each burger was priced at $15, but the quality and taste made it worth the cost. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. We would definitely return to this restaurant if we are in the area - a must-visit spot for burgers in Boston.
This restaurant serves the best burger I have ever tasted! My cousin recommended we visit Bartley's Burger during his holiday in Boston, and I am so glad we did. I will definitely be returning. The service and food were outstanding.
The burgers we had were so good! We were also entertained by the posters abs memorabilia on the walls. They really document all the famous people who are there and even burgers and sandwiches after them. Worth a stop!
The service at this restaurant was friendly and attentive, although there were a couple of times when our water glasses weren't refilled promptly. The Mocha Frappe was the first to arrive and it was delicious. The burgers were hot and tasty, with a variety of options including three vegetarian choices: eggplant, black bean, and veggie (which we later learned was just a veggie patty with cheese). The fries, onion rings (which we found to be 70th percentile in tastiness), and brussels sprouts were all hot and delicious. The portions were generous. The arugula salad was okay, but I would probably skip it next time. We enjoyed sitting outside, away from the crowded interior, and were pleased to be able to bring our dog Zena along. The busboy kindly brought over a bowl of water for her. It was surprising to discover that the restaurant did not have a restroom, but perhaps they have found a way to accommodate this particular demand.
From the service to the food, everything about Mr. Bartley's Burger was enjoyable. First off the burger! No wonder burger is in there name, wow. I got the Drag Race and it was loaded from top to bottom. By accident they served it with fries instead of onion rings, but the waitress noticed this and brought out the rings so I had both. My wife enjoyed the clam chowder and fish and chips. Being from Pennsylvania and having so many wonderful options in Cambridge. We would highly recommend lunch or dinner here.
