Rock Lobstah - Cambridge

Went for the whole lobster special which is a fair deal with two sides. Disappointed there aren't better wine choices but the lobster is good.

Food was good, service very good, BUT there was a big sign in the window in front of us that gave discounts for different amounts, up to 20 for over $100. When we got our bill for almost $300 for 7 of us, we asked for a discount, we were told the discount was only for the gift shop. The sign just listed the discounts, and there was no indication the discount was for the gift shop. When we asked, they said oh, we have to change that. NOT NICE!!!!! Probably try another restaurant next time we are in town, not one with false advertising.

We had a 2:30 table reservation and when we arrived they said they were swamped and didn 't know when we would get a table...sat at bar and after a few minutes asked if we could order a drink while we waited (no problem for us) sat an other half hour and asked if we could just order something to eat at the bar. Put in an order for 1/2 lb. shrimp and 3 rolls (lobster, crab and shrimp) waited another whole hour....at this point kind of losing patience we asked if our food was almost ready. The manager 's response was I 'm so sorry but I told you we were swamped . Now totally understandable but please ask if we need a drink or bring the shrimp or something! We were about to pay for our drinks and leave but the manager apologized and told us our meal would be covered. Not what we were looking for at all. Finally after waiting forever and listening to a very loud drunk table behind us carry on our food arrived...and it was really really good. Worth the torture. I would go again but I hope they can get it together.

Fell in love with this place and will visit again next time in town!
