Contribuer aux commentairesWe had a fantastic yakitori experience at this restaurant. We made a reservation online two weeks in advance, confirmed it, and arrived for dinner. We were seated at the counter where we could watch the chefs at work. The grilled yakitori dishes we ordered were amazing, and the miso soup was excellent. Overall, we will definitely be returning for more!
Located in the village of Hampstead, this izakaya is a hidden gem offering an authentic Japanese culinary experience. The grilled mackerel was truly impressive, making it a rare find in London. The fish was fresh, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, the set was sold out when we visited. While on the pricier side, this restaurant is a beautiful spot for a light meal and drinks and definitely worth a try.
This Japanese restaurant is one of the best options for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, making you feel like you're in Japan. The wagyu steak was cooked perfectly, but the standout dishes were the yakitori gizzard and ox tongue. I highly recommend this restaurant!
What a jewel of a restaurant authentic, cozy, welcoming and of course with a fabulous selection of delicious Japanese foods. without any doubt, they can not eat here without trying to shoot some of the grilled spears just their order quickly because they use fresh but limited storages that goes fast (until we leave the duck, salmon, chili, wobbles and the gizzard spits were all sold out. all our spits were boiled for perfection over a flaming wood charcoal grill, which also gives a great taste and visual taste (highly recommended to get a bar seat like I when ordering yakitori. our favorite the night was the lambskewer, but I would also recommend the chicken wings, the feathering and the waking eggs. we have also tried to mix tempoura and potato croquettes that were as amazing as the spits. Finally, I cannot comment on this restaurant without mentioning the beautiful personal. we were served by mana (I think I heard it right, which was very sweet and attentive, and even set up with us when we spiled some water on the bar. total 10/10. I will be back very soon, that must be one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in london.
Felt like I was back in Japan. Quality of food served was perfect. I will definitely be back for more dinners.
