Mims Cafe And Coffee - Cannock Chase

A friend suggested this restaurant to us, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The atmosphere was lovely and clean. We decided to try a new drink with lots of cream on top, which was delicious. We will definitely be returning and are looking forward to trying the psychic night they offer. The staff and customers were friendly as well. I visited with my daughter and we had a great experience.

I visited Mims Mom's today for afternoon tea. It is a small, charming cafe with a very friendly staff. The afternoon tea was abundant, fresh, and delightful. Beautiful location, delicious and generous traditional afternoon tea! Convenient parking available nearby, although it is not free. The staff is very welcoming and hospitable. The prices are reasonable, making it a great value overall!

I can echo all the excellent reviews on here(where did the terrible ones come from?! this is a first class cafe with lovely light decor and a really good atmosphere, made possible by the excellent management and staff. I popped in for brunch while waiting for my motorbike to be serviced down the road at CMC as I didn't want the usual bacon butty or full English breakfast that you get at other cafes. I had visited Mim's last year and the owner remembered me which was a pleasant surprise. The cafe is delightful, really nicely decorated and spotlessly clean and the welcome was warm and friendly. My original plan was to have a coffee and a cake (I had the most delicious walnut cake there last year) but after advice I was tempted by the herby mushrooms on toast. I'm glad that I chose that option as they were absolutely delicious, I heartily recommend them. The coffee was fresh and tasty too. I was tempted by the gorgeous looking cakes too but somehow managed say no. If you are in the area pop in, enjoy the food and the friendly welcome, the place is a little gem!
