Hostal La Zamora - Carcabuey

My family and I were holidaying in the area and we were so impressed after the first night we had eaten there, which most of us had the piglet. It was succulent and so tasty with amazing crackling, it was accompanied by butter roasted apples. We went back on oiur last night to celebrate before going home. On the second night I had the roasted octopus, it was divine. Cooked too perfection! The presentation was spectacular. My sister had the shoulder of lamb and it was excellent. Some of my other family members had the burgers and the sirloin steak the second night and they really enjoyed them as well. The two girls waiting on us were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. This place is a true gem, a must if you are in the area.

I’ve taken my girlfriend and her family who happen to live locally for a quick lunch on their outside terrace. When we asked nicely one of the waitresses whether we can move the outside tables 1m further just so we are sat in the sun we have been told very un politely that it is not possible. We didn’t understand why and no explanation was given. We had to leave and went to a different restaurant with outsider seating as we didn’t feel very welcome at all. My girlfriends family is Spanish and were also shocked with the attitude of the young lady.

Very unimaginable setting but, only on the afternoon, it does a very good menu at a good price (in the evening I think it does bbq) with beautiful weeping and cheerful employees when you close carcabuey or prigo, give it a away.

Excelente tratamiento de todo el personal que trabaja allí, te hace sentir como en casa. las habitaciones súper limpias y no hay ningún detalle de nada. y la comida espectacular, que mano tienes ruben, especialmente los postres, de 10! y bravo para mis camareras favoritas mamen y eva

Gran trato y servicio recibido. estar tan lejos de tu casa y sentir que es inestimable
