Flaming Amy's Burrito Barn Carolina Beach

We decided to give this place a try and I?m glad we did. I had the Wok on the beach burrito and we ordered queso and chips with a few drinks. The service was great and super fast! The house margarita was great. The pineapple salsa was amazing!!! The burrito was good, taste a bit bland, but as soon as I put the pineapple salsa on it it was a game changer!! ? oh and did I mention how big the burrito was!? They also have daily specials! You should give this place a try! I?ll definitely be back!

It was my first time here and at first I was skeptical. No one came to help me after a few minutes standing I saw a girl on her phone in the office area. Might have been a shift change because a woman walked in with her bags and immediately came over to take my order. She was so friendly and offered suggestions which were really helpful! Super quick to get my order. I got takeout but they had a large dining area and outdoor seating. The salsa bar is endless and had multiple options. The Amy?s salsa and pineapple were my favorites. I ordered the Thai Mee Up burrito which was good, I really liked the sauce on it. Chicken had a weird texture so next time I may try a different protein option. Spicy black bean queso was on special so I decided to try it. It?s SO good. Definitely get that. The chip bag was full to the top and they were crispy and salty. Yum.

Funded by friend and visited Amys Farmbarn for the first time. Did Phat boy philly burrito and it was delicious?. Had a variety of sauces choice, sweet, sour and spicy. Definitely mix pineapple sauce with the spicy sauce makes a good combo. The tortilla chips were warma and fresh. The service at the front was friendly and the food was drained quite quickly, although the restaurant was filled with people. Clean and well maintained washrooms. Would you like to visit them again when you visit Carolina Beach.

Nice place to try Mexican fast food with lot of options. We liked the food and ambiance. Staff was friendly and explained everything very well as it was our first visit. I will definitely suggest to try this one if you are in Carolina beach.

We decided to eat here for my wife's birthday because of all the great reviews. I am convinced that these are fake reviews or other people have no taste. I have a simple pallet and I don't need a chic 5-store restaurant to enjoy a meal. We should have known if we were a disaster first. We went on Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy. Everything looked dingy and worn out. I hadn't expected it to look brand new, but it definitely looked bleak and could use an update or a deep cleaning. The cash register was friendly and welcoming, so I have no complaints about the employees. But the food was terrible. We had a party of 5 and all complained about the same things. Beef and chicken were hardly warm. We've never tried some meat like that before. No season. It was like eating clear paper. That's how it was. And then all the other ingredients were cold until they were almost frozen. The bowls were soggy. Say what you know about Taco Bell and I know it's not as high-quality food BUT at least Taco Bell is delicious and tasteful and is a thousand times tastier as the slop we were served. That's why I scratch my head, why so many people rave over the food. Really? How? The bill came to $65 for 3 children and 2 adults who were not bad for a restaurant BUT for the quality of the food it was very overpriced.
