Perfect place for a relaxing evening, with friends or couples, enjoying good food. We tasted some of the appetizers and were excellent, especially the meatballs (recommended) and the millefoglie. The menu offers a few pizzas, but sought after, with a light and not rubbery dough. We wanted a good pizza. Found it! Best pizza in the surrounding area!
Very nice and clean premises, excellent reception by the owner. The service is a little slow but efficient and inflated are really excellent. The quality of the products is good and the account is absolutely in line with the quality offered. We will definitely be back
We happened in this restaurant by chance on the evening of 14/08/2023. We were in five and we had no problem in booking the same day. The friendly and friendly owner, the waiters not less. We were greeted with the smile and immediately accompanied to the table, on the terrace. As an appetizer we ordered a white pizza with pig spiders of Nebrodi and mushrooms, and pork meatballs with sauce. We couldn't take pictures because we immediately brushed everything. The only photos taken are the main courses: fried octopus on potato mousse, pasta with white pig ragù of Nebrodi, swordfish rolls. A delight for the palate, all really good, presented very well but above all the quality of the raw materials is evident. All accompanied by a good red house, served as cold as I like. Finally we took tiramisu, cup of grandmother and baba. I don't know how much we paid because one of the commensali offered dinner, but I think that the price oscilli on 30/40 euros per person, well spent! If we had stayed a few more days we would have returned to try the rest of the menu! I suggest we go dinner in Il Casalino if you go from Caronia!
The location is very characteristic: in stone with large and well-kept environments. It also has an outside space where we ate and were well. The owner and staff everything was very kind, friendly and helpful. We ate pizza, of type with the high cornice, very good and well seasoned; a pasta and a cous cous based on fish, both good; involtini di Pescespada e polpo fritto, always good. The dishes are all treated also in the composition. Only sin, but subjective, could be slightly more abundant. Good sweets. House wine and water all at honest price and in line with the area and how much eaten. To come back.
