Today on the occasion of the Bue Grasso Fair in Carrù we discovered this restaurant a stone's throw from the state but hidden in the green The local is very cozy inside the wooden room and stone with the fireplace and we have lunched in a glazed room with view on the wonderful park of the structure raw meat and appetizers very good soups with trippes and boiled cart to finish with a delicate baked cream decidedly a nice discovery The waitresss told me that usually we will eat à la carte with Piedmont vitella cooked Goodbye to the grill and only the boiled menu
An excellent well looked after massive garden, real fire logs grill on to cook meat with real good flavour; local typical dishes such as fassona; tajerin
This is my second visit to I Magnin. This time my family and I celebrated my birthday, having the opportunity to eat outside under the porch, right in front of the spectacular garden. Food is excellent either you choose pasta or meat, but a special remark goes to Carne Cruda and Tagliata di codone ... don’t miss them! ... don’t miss to have a look to the huge embers barbecue, managed directly by the owner. We combined our delicious dishes with an enjoyable Nebbiolo from Anna Maria Abbona, suggested by the waitress. The staff are friendly and very efficient. A very tasty experience overall! We’ll come again when we visit Italy next time!
I had the opportunity to visit this agriturismo for the celebration of the 55th anniversary of my parents in law. After some appetizers (I had a delicious Carne Cruda! and some pasta of the Piedmont’s tradition, it came the time of the Meat. We shared a Tagliata di Codone followed by a Fiorentina di Bue Piemontese, both grilled perfectly by the chef on his unique barbecue and combined with a great Barbera d’Asti Superiore! To finish we had some desserts and I tasted a fresh Sorbetto alla Salvia. The location and the setting are amazing and the staff are very kind and polite. All in all it was a fantastic experience and I will visit I Magnin for sure when I’m back to Italy next summer!
