Our crisp, chilled lettuce salads arrived quickly, accompanied by a squirt bottle of cool dressing, allowing us to use as much or as little as we liked. The special of the day was goulash, which was quite tasty, featuring generous portions of ground beef in a rich tomato sauce served over pasta. The serving size was substantial. The green beans were tender and packed with flavor, while the roll was fresh and delightful. The liver came generously topped with cooked onions. Throughout our meal, Chris kindly checked in on us, ensuring we had everything we needed, including to-go cups for our water. I would certainly dine at the Chuckwagon again! The food was great, and the service was both efficient and friendly.
I visited the restaurant with my family after my grandfather's funeral. We had actually eaten there earlier that day, but since we didn’t have a place to gather afterwards, we decided to go back for coffee after the service. Upon entering, the staff member informed us that our previous table was unavailable and expressed her frustration about the number of us dining, mentioning she was the only one working. Her attitude was quite poor towards us. Additionally, the food was underwhelming, and the bathrooms were unclean. Overall, I would not recommend this place. 0/10.
If you're traveling on SR54, you definitely need to stop by Chuckwagon. The ribeye and pork chops were absolutely delicious, and the sides were just as good. Plus, the service was both friendly and efficient.
Great CFS!
