Our goal was to have a light meal before going back to the hotel but ended up with a delicious selection of food that brought our spirit back. There is a lot to say about the energy and the vibe of the people that run this place: you can feel how much passion is shared. We have been provided with some warm bread and tomato sauce as soon as we seated. The eggplant parmesan was good , but the main experience was about the seafood. Portions are big, you won't be disappointed with that. The owner entertained us, explaining about the history of the place, his origins and his research. It was great to connect with you eat and understand it a little more about it.Espresso Coffee was ok, not burned or too liquid. We also had a tiramisu (just because it was supposed to be a light night) and it was amazing! I couldn't even take a picture that it was already eaten. Will pinpoint the location for future trips!
This was an unexpected gem. We came to visit the Precious Moments chapel in Carthage, MO. This restaurant is located on the property. The food was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. They are closed on Mondays but well worth the drive to eat here.
First time to dine here and the tortellini in pink vodka sauce I ordered was amazing! One of the best pasta dishes I've had, and I've dined at many Italian restaurants. Flavor was excellent. The place feels more like an event center room but had a piano player who really made the dining experience nice. Our waitress was great! They did miss our reservations, but, luckily, they had enough room and time to throw some tables together. We were all impressed w/ our selected dishes.
People were friendly. Family atmosphere. Stuffed mushroom appetizer was amazing! We just visited the Precious Moments Chapel and stopped in for a bite. Waitress was friendly. Bread and marinara sauce served were very tasty. For future reference booth seating would be a nice addition and to be seated away from kitchen for improved conversation/ dining experience.
The best Italian food I have ever had! I tried several of the deserts and though they were all excellent the Italian Cream Cake is ridiculously great! They had a pretty big crowd but we were seated quickly and in no time we had our food. The proportions were each enough for two people. Especially if you intend to have desert. The staff was super friendly and polite and it was a great experience. Our families will be regulars. Food: 5
