Contribuer aux commentairesRegulars here for years. Must be new owners and place is now a dump. Filthy tables, no napkins or forks. Plus raised their prices. Now a no go zone for our family. Don’t waste your time or money here anymore.2 of 3 items my wife ordered were ice cold while my salad was hot. You really have to be a seriously poor quality restaurant to do that. The Kafka had a really shredded tough taste. Look, we’ve been eating here forever and the Kafka was always excellent. Now it is definitely low quality meat. The only way to describe the salad is it was a hot mess. Literally hot but also chokingly spicy. Worst I’ve ever had there.Lastly the pita bread was hard as a rock and cold. But my wife’s was burning hot.We use to love this place and would put up with the owner’s annoying son who would occasionally run the register, just because the food was good and the place was clean. But those days are over. We couldn’t finish the meal because it was so bad. And for the first time in hundreds of meals there we both threw our food in the trash. Also spotted some roaches right outside as we left. That was actually the best part of the dining experience there. To the new owner or old owner who has lost their way, after eating at your restaurant year after year, we feel you owe us a full refund. First time here was a little overwhelming. The food was amazing, but being new to the table grill, we could have used better service to explain what we were doing and eating. My vegetarian daughter had difficulty finding something to eat. They could benefit from highlighting vegetarian options. We will definitely return.Food: 5/5
This is a good quick casual Mediterranean place. It caters more to the meat lover with a plethora of meaty options.Still has plenty of your vegan, vegetarian options. The food was good. The pricing was good. The atmosphere was similar to a subway NY Pizzeria.Currently a mural is falling off the wall I’m sure that’s temporary.Overall a nice quick stop fast causal restaurant.
If you love Middle Eastern food (like I do) and you want a fast/casual experience then this is GREAT spot. They have many of the standards of this cuisine: kabobs, shawarma, falafel, gyros, various middle eastern salads (a really good selection), etc. And more importantly, they know how to cook meat. This might sound like a funny comment to make, but I've found that most Middle Eastern restaurants WAY overcook the meat that they serve, especially lamb, which leaves it dry and unenjoyable. Not so with Baba Ghannouj. The meat is cooked properly and is moist, juicy, and very flavorful. The lamb is really good (and if you don't normally eat lamb, you should try it here. Seriously). The service is fast, if not overly friendly, and so this place is great if you just want to stop and order something to go, which is what you probably want to do as the dining area is fairly small and austere. Finally, the prices are good and you get really good value for your money. My only complaint is that they aren't right across the street from where I live so I can go there more often. Just go, give them a little bit of money and make your stomach happy. You'll be glad you did.Parking: It's in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking.
It was a cold Saturday afternoon and we were in the mood for some healthyish lunch. We were going to be in the area of Cary and came across this establishment. Upon arrival we were overwhelmed with the rather large menu. There was plenty of options and variety of sizes. We decided on keeping it simple and ordered some wraps with some sides and an order for fries(why not you only Yolo once). As we waited we sat down and noticed this was by far one of the dirtiest restaurants we had ever been to. They probably hadn’t dusted it since they had opened 17+ years ago. Also everything was sticky, they had cleaning wipes everywhere, for a good reason I guess. They also had 20 bottles of ketchup around the restaurant with just a little bit in each. The food finally arrived and it was ok. A bit dry for the meet and the baba Ghannouj was lacking salt. The fries were tasty and the only positive side of the food.Overall we were a bit disappointed. I would only go back if they cleaned up and tightened up the menu.
