As you enter, you'll see massive wall of chocolate bars. I was like: oh my God my heaven on earth. When choosing something on a menu, you must trust your tastebuds... when reading something that makes your mouth water... that's what you have to order. I was disappointed at this point, since 2 out of 3 ice cream flavors that I wanted to try weren't available... but it's okay, I'm not a picky one : My boyfriend took the caramel, it was superb! I had Madagascar choco with 71% bitterness. Just perfect for my tastes. Overall, nice place.
I am a chococaholic. There are not many places that serves genuine hot chocolate. Many places just put a bag of chocolate powder and hand it to the customers as hot chocolate. I am happy to see that a branch of this pretty famous chocolate rica has opened in Cassino. There is no competition here. The cafe is new, so the decor is very nice. Lots of Windows to let in light. An L shaped bank of counter is against the wall. One end has all the different kinds of ice cream. The other has glass display of cornetti, muffins, cakes, lots of big round chocolate cakes, mouse, mocha cakes. It was mid afternoon, so not many people there. I expect for breakfast, this place would be packed, as the various cornetti named on the board are not on display, very likely all sold out. I ordered hot chocolate, and my husband has his usual espresso. Need I say, it was heavenly, thick and sweet. They served this with several biscuits, texture like lady fingers . The best hot chocolate is in Valencia, Spain, and the second in Madrid, Spain. This would be the third. Nothing like dipping churros on to hot chocolate. Now if they have hot churros..., but this is not to be as this is Italia, not Espagna. For such a nice Cafe, I expected it to be much more than they actually charge. We will return, for sure.
This place is one of the most beautiful bar/cafe in Cassino. The price is not cheap, but the food is worth the price. The gelato is served with a bit of chocolate in the end, after that is gelato. There are not many choices of taste for gelato, but this is a chocolate bar anyway. They taste pretty good with the price of 3.5 euros. They also have tea from the American brand [forte' , which is really really amazing from the taste to the smell. The price is quite high though, 2.5 euros and above. I'm not a big fan of chocolate, but seriously, the lemon cake served with liquid dark chocolate here is amazing. The staff is so so, because they are busy, they couldn't open much smile. However, they are helpful with the choices of customers. There is only 1-2 people who can speak a little bit of English. You also can buy chocolate as gifts, which are really pretty here.
It's not that of once! Since the management has changed the way of dealing with the customer. little efficiency and little organization. sin, very disappointing
I was skeptical, from outside it seems like a borious and expensive place: I have to think again. the quality and the proposal of the sweets there is and the codialita of the boys is very pleasant, to the hand, allowing you to be immediately... more
