Although we had enough food to feed a little poor, we ordered the sesam rolls for the desert. they had an amazing texture and a delicious taste. are they ready to take some delicious foods after home, because we ate until we were full and still enough left for several meals. if they are happy enough to live near the china caffe, they must try it! there is no doubt in my head, they become a more regular after them. I often drive through castle rock on I-25, so I will often be back.
Moo Gu Gai pan sucks all it has in it is chicken, mushroom, water chestnuts and maybe 10 snow peas in it. The worst I’ve ever had!
I hadn't been to the China Cafe in years. My prior experience was poor, but I'd heard it had improved. Unfortunately, it was just as bad as last time. First impression was a shoddy interior. Then the service was so slow I seriously thought about leaving as I had only an hour for lunch. It took a long time just to get a menu. I had to hurry through the meal, but there was nothing to savor in any case. It wasn't terrible, just bland and edible. There are at least three Chinese/Asian restaurants in Castle Rock that are much better.
Quintessential Chinese American spot inconspicuously located in a shopping center. Lunch combo had great portions, good flavors, and the right price. Worth a stop!
Have been ordering for a couple years. Locally owned and operated. Food is consistently good and fresh. I enjoy eating in and taking out. Just ordered take out today an always enjoy this place. Owner is very nice and professional. If you haven't tried them, you won't be disappointed.
