Village Inn - Castle Rock

We order takeout at least once a week. I usually call in around 5:30, and he picks it up at 6:00 pm. Sometimes I even take care of the payment.

Another fantastic spot in the well-loved "Breakfast n More" chain. The food was exceptional, but the service truly stood out! Be sure to request a table in Sam's section; you won’t regret it.

I returned to the restaurant and happened to have the same server again. She immediately apologized for my previous experience. This time, I enjoyed a wonderful Christmas breakfast. Thank you, Village Inn! However, I had an incredibly rude encounter during my first visit. The server forgot to bring milk for my coffee and completely overlooked my pie, even though others at my table received theirs. She claimed she was "too busy." I spoke to the manager about it, but he seemed intimidated by her and didn’t address the issue. Despite the poor service, I still paid the full bill minus the tip. Overall, it was a disappointing and memorable experience.

If you've been to a Village Inn before, you'll know what to expect at this location. The servers are friendly and attentive, though they're often busy managing multiple tables. Fortunately, I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table, as they are quick to clean and prepare them. The food is decent—nothing spectacular, but certainly not bad either. While it may not be the go-to spot for healthy options, there are choices available, such as egg whites, fruit, and whole grains, which is a nice touch. The menu offers a wide variety, so you won't have trouble finding something to eat. Pricing is reasonable, making it a budget-friendly option. Overall, I find myself returning here occasionally because it provides a family-friendly atmosphere and good meals at fair prices.

I enjoyed delicious food and excellent service during my visit. However, I was saddened to learn that, as of this morning, the restaurant has permanently closed due to insufficient sales. It seems this is a wider trend, not just a local issue. I found out about the closure on my first day back at work. I’m giving this location five stars for its overall performance, but I want to alert others ahead of time so they don't head out to the restaurant. Google has been informed about the closure.
