I do wish to say that, although this cafe is like a “hidden gem”” independence business, there is several things I would like to point out.. The lounge does acceptable size portions varieties of fillings for sandwich, baguettes, cakes panini’s.. I ordered chicken cheese panini, tea hot chocolate. Arrived in a miniature narrow plate (very small) I think the Mayo was definitely over done, small amount of cheese (melted at the side) small bits of chicken.. very tricky to eat (real mess). However, this business does lack hygiene!! The staff here may not been taking notice of sweeping floors cleaning tables!! Our table looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned for days?? (Disgusting) bits of cake sandwich stuck in the table gaps… not impressed! I think I’ll give this cafe a miss..
Majority of the food is unfortunately bought at a very low cost from Tesco, and you can tell. The quality is shocking and the taste is bland. Staff weren’t at all accommodating either. Won’t be going back in a flash.
Just had our first Thai takeaway from The Lounge and we will be back! We ordered the set menu and had so much delicious food for £26! Great value for such delicious food. We ordered the chicken cashew and massaman. Thank you to The Lounge!
