ALL staff very very polite and helpful, waited on you for any thing. buffet excellent, also did fresh cooked food while you wait. Happy environment all round...????????????????
Excellent service and the food is very good we will thank about staying here again if we fly from Heathrowe again
We had a lovely time here. Food was good and VIP lodge was great. Good food and good wine. Easy transportation to the hotel via hopper bus. $5.00 each way.
I think there are some problems with this outlet currently. Yesterday morning I was queuing for an age as the barista had been left on her own to make drinks and man the till, except she couldn 't get the coffee machine to work properly, and had till problems evidently tried phoning someone for help but nobody answered her. Eventually it was the turn of the customer in front of me, who asked for a drink with whipped cream and some caramel syrup stuff (whatever), but the barista apparently didn 't hear whipped cream and proceeded to put the caramel directly into the coffee, as if that makes sense? Is that a thing? I dunno, seems weird. When reminded about the cream, she then dolloped a small amount on top of the syrupped coffee. Eventually my turn, but the barista didn 't know how to use the PDQ (you have to put the sale amount in *before* giving it to the customer) (and you 're supposed to tear off the receipt using the teeth on the machine, not messily with two hands) (and you 're supposed to tear off the merchant and customer receipts separately, not later separate them again by hand), and it wasn 't until I got to my car and drove off that I discovered my alleged latte to be completely undrinkable. Kind of a burnt, chemically taste stuck in my mouth for two hours. Lovely! I don 't know whether she was in training or what, but if so it seems unreasonable management to leave a trainee running the entire shop, alone, with no backup or anybody answering calls for help, on New Year 's Day, at checkout time, in an airport hotel that just hosted a large party over the weekend. And if not a trainee, then perhaps some retraining is called for. Just some thoughts.
