Hotel-Restaurant Hollywood - Cernavodă

This was my first visit to the hollywood restaurant terrace and hopefully the last. I am uncertain when my standards are too high or when the staff was too busy with a high-time event in their main room, but I think that even the worst culinary experience I had in Romania. first of all, our eating took a very long time to arrive. I had ordered chicken livers and pommes and I can confess that I had never had such tasteless, dried, almost burned food in my life! my sister had a cesar salad, which contains a few baby carrots and cirschtomaten, besides the tired salat, which are out of place in a cesar salad definitelly! the dressing was also something else. should I mention that a person in our group does not receive their order at all, as it was simply missed?! Yeah, it's hammered. she had to wait more time than the innitial was not enough an hour. the terrace looks great, beautifully arranged and apparently the pizza is good. after one of my friends.

Our reservation for 2 rooms on their website about a month in advance, got email conflicts. at the reception we find that only one room appears in their notebook and that is the official document, the email confirmation does not play any role. the receptionist tells us. they have no other rooms available because of a event they organized and in preparation for this event, I imagine that her colleague starts washing the floor before the reception, which moves us towards the door.

We worked in the center of st lawrence for young people and were in the hotel hollywood. the rooms are excellent, large and very comfortable. Unfortunately, they were in our first night host of a high-time reception, which continued until 4 o'clock. the hotel did not seem. around any noise protection and it was exceptionally loud in all bedrooms. as planned for the next two night parties, we were moved to her sister hotel for two nights (which is a bit like a travel agency) and then withdrawn again. you eat is excellent, but we had to wait 2 hours a night for it to be served and other evenings not much faster. I have read these conflicts with others, so not sure why we had a problem. if they cannot guarantee parties, this would be the place to stay (we were offered earrings). gabriel the waiter was excellent and understood the concept of boiling water for tee and he always had a smile for her.

Very good food and very good services. the owners are very helpful. highly recommended if they are around in summer or winter.

Quick with good food and ample portions. Usually 2-3 salads and 3-4 main courses. Cafeteria style which, though may not fit everyone, is quick and good value. Only open for a couple of hours at lunch, it's a good option. Restaurant open at same time...and evenings but that's a separate review. Good, quick and well priced soup/roll and main course for less than £4.
