The sausage gravy is homemade, and the pancakes are light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious—almost the size of the plate! The waitstaff are always friendly and accommodating, no matter how busy (and stressful) things may be. Make sure to come hungry!
I just moved back to Chambersburg from Arizona, and I was eager to enjoy a hearty breakfast. At Tommy's, I tried the Florentine with Spanish tomato and feta cheese, along with one pancake and four sausage links. It was absolutely delicious!
I was pleasantly surprised! I hadn't been to this restaurant in years because my last experience was disappointing. However, during my recent visit, the food and service were both outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable.
It was lunchtime, and the atmosphere was quite loud. The lighting where we were seated was low, making it difficult for my nearly blind father to see his food, but he managed to make do. The food here is consistently good.
The food was excellent, but we had a few different waitresses, which was the only downside. It wasn't too busy when we visited, and I would definitely go back again.
