I know how busy graduation weekend can be for restaurants, so they had a special menu. This was fine, but we were shocked that at the bottom of the menu was printed that an extra 25% was to be added to your check if you requested separate checks. Coming from food and beverage experiences, this is price gouging! Our bill was $382.00. If we had requested separate checks, that would have added an additional $95.00 to our checks overall. One person ended up paying the total check and we are paying that person for our meals. When you own a business there are certain things that are considered “cost of doing business“ and “how, as a business, can I provide the best customer service”. I think Big Grove Tavern missed the mark on both.
Great service and the salmon steak was really good to try
Been here for over an hour and a half. Still haven't gotten our food.
It’s a steak house, restaurant, and a bar. Came here for dinner with my partner and we were both pleasantly satisfied. We just got sandwiches but wish we would have tried some of their meat a la carte. Having no complaints about this place, I would recommend it for a meal.
Unfortunate we went during vegan specials otherwise I might have enjoyed it more I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich everything seemed to have lemon zest fries popcorn which is served as a starter
