Black Dog Smoke Ale House - Champaign

Very very good food. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food the quality of food. The building is the old train station it's nicely remodeled.

The smells in this place were amazing! The beef brisket sandwich was delicious and I really liked the hot Georgia peach sauce. The sides, on the other hand, were not that great. I tried the elote and another at the table tried the Mac n cheese and they were both pretty bland.

Food and service were both excellent. Especially loved the brisket quseo appetizers

This was our first time at the new location. It’s a bit odd of a space. Food seems a bit less spectacular as I remember the old space. Service was good.

First time. Solo diner. Brisket was excellent. Loved the smoked sweet potato. This place will stay on my list for whenever I am in town.
