And with prices that put the restaurant as among the most expensive in C-H, you really should look elsewhere unless you’re staying at the hotel. Although we were very hungry, we didn’t finish our entrees because they were bland. Both came highly recommended. The truffle pasta tagliatelle? was described as best on the menu. I’m a fan of truffled pasta and have eaten it countless times. I could not smell or taste truffles. At all. There was a course mince of something which appeared to be truffle like, but barely tasted of minced crimini. The sauce appeared to be olive oil with a touch of butter and little else. I took over half the dish home for a second opinion. Second opinion worse than mine. Other main was a very forgettable butternut squash ravioli. Starters were figs and gorgonzola with a moutain of sprouts. Not bad. Other starter was a well prepared octopus with rather and tasteless odd potato wedge, and a sofrito ? tomato/pepper to the side which was clearly something that the waiter should have left off or substituted due to stated allergies. Service started well enough, although it felt more canned than genuine. However, We were asked about our first bites before we even could take them and then we were left alone for about half an hour and unable to flag anyone down. I had an appointment and we had 1:30 for the meal we didn’t have time for desert or coffee. Atmosphere it seems more like a mandatory restaurant in a hotel than a destination restaurant which just happens to be in a hotel. Not what I recall from years ago. Dietary restrictions: were solicited but only partially followed
