Sal's Pizza - Chapel Hill

Pretty decent NY style slices/sizes for the cost. But don’t get a fountain drink here unless you want to pay over $3 when you can go 100 yards down the road to the gas station and get a bigger size drink (and more options) for less than half that price.Food: 4/5

Hello! I ordered two personal specialty pizzas online for pickup about 30/45 mins before closing. This was to be me and my wife's dinner after a long drive back home. We should have checked before leaving but mind you it was late into the evening and we were tired from the drive. My wife's pizza was correct to what she ordered. My pizza was to be a Deluxe specialty, but once we got back home it was just a plain cheese pizza. Edited The restaurant was quite quick in reaching out to us. They apologized for the situation. They also offered my wife and I a free pizza as well. ?

I have been to a lot of pizza places throughout the years and Sal’s has made a great impression on me, the Chicago pizza is amazing, we order a large just so we have leftovers and it is even better reheated. We always order the same pizza because it is that good and consistent

3 times over the last 6 months that an an order of ours was messed up. I never raised my voice or mad. No one apologized. Everyone acted like nothing had happened. No accountability. These consistent results are a sign of a classic decline. I sense management is asleep or not trained. A shame as the food tastes good but has the highest price for this type of food that I know of.Buyer be ware.

Sal's is GREAT!!! To me the best , No.1 , Top of the hill, SuperBest Italian Restaurant in the Chapel Hill Area!!!Their Food , excellent Service , and Smiling faces , keeps people coming back!!!!
