We have a reservation online (recommended) and sat in the Sushi Bar. This is not a traditional Shushi bar like SHIKI that we love. 167 Sushi is a modern takeover of Japanese sushi with a spin. It's just crazy. We had foie grass with a German red wine, monkfish with an Austrian Sauvignon Blanc. Uni, Mackarel, Oysters etc. But what really distinguishes this place is the staff and service. After working in the hospitality/restaurant industry for years, I really appreciate the conversation and recommendations of the staff. We love this place and will be back. Go, let your friends know.
The food was phenomenal, creative to a peak experience. Miles was one of the Chefs and shared info about he prepared for us was very engaging! Shane was our server and very enthusiastic about both the drink menu and food! I highly recommend, but be sure to reserve early, as it is a smaller venue and highly popular..However, it's worth it!
My hubby and I shared duck fried rice with a poached egg, tuna futomaki, black bass nigiri, and a carafe of saki (I cant recall the name of the saki). It was all excellent. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. Two thumbs up.
Great sushi with a flare of elegance. They had big eye tuna, sea bass and a few others as their fish of the day. The nigiri and sashimi were fresh and staff was laid back. Location is on the small side but everyone was super friendly.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was intimate and personal, and the sushi was absolutely exquisite. The salmon nigiri was particularly excellent. Our waiter also brought out a special birthday dessert, which made the evening even more memorable.
