New South Kitchen - Charlotte

Great food. Highly recommend the deviled eggs, baked pimento cheese, crab cakes and the blackened meatloaf. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed

Potato salad was not southern and waitress wasn't interactive as others. He was very quiet

New South is a hidden treasure in Arboretum. The food is always excellent, and the seasonal menu showcases fresh ingredients. We celebrated a birthday dinner here, but we usually stop by for lunch. Our favorites include the Fried Chicken, NC Trout, and Shrimp Grits. The service is friendly, and the dining room and bar have a great atmosphere. Parking is always easy in Arboretum, so that's not a concern. If you're in the area, be sure to check out New South. It’s definitely worth the visit.

Wow! If you haven't been here yet, you definitely should. This is Southern cooking at its finest! The ingredients are fresh, healthy, and delicious, and the service is excellent!

We had our Thanksgiving dinner here and enjoyed it very much. One of my sides was macaroni and cheese ... and it tasted wonderful, but there wasn't much of it bummer. Definitely a place I would recommend due to their excellent food and great service.
