Awesome service and great staff. They helped us choices and gave our kids some hats and crayons. We were able to order at out oen speed and felt welcome! Will definitely visit again when in town

I visited the Firehouse Subs in Charlottesville, VA, on June 13, 2021, and it was bustling with activity during lunchtime. Although the restaurant was allowing customers to dine in, I chose to get my order to-go and eat in the parking lot due to the high number of patrons and limited seating available inside. I ordered my go-to sandwich, the Italian Sub "fully involved," adding banana peppers, along with an ice-cold Coca-Cola and a bag of chips. The sub was made perfectly, and I savored every bite. I opted for Lays Kettle Cooked Jalapeno Cheddar chips this time, which complemented the sandwich nicely. They weren’t spicy but had a hint of jalapeno flavor behind the strong cheddar taste—definitely worth trying, and I’ll be on the lookout for them again. Great job today!

This restaurant is a convenient stop on 29 South for a meal. The online ordering app is user-friendly, allowing me to easily walk in and pick up my order from the designated takeout shelf. The regular sub is quite filling, especially when paired with a dill pickle spear, so I usually skip the chips, although my husband likes to add them to his order. My personal favorite is the Italian sub on wheat, without deli mustard and onions, as I find that the deli mustard tends to overwhelm the Italian dressing and seasonings. So far, my carryout orders have always been correct.

The sandwiches here are of excellent quality! I'm really happy that I decided to give this place a try over the past year. I'm absolutely obsessed with the Cajun mayo—it's incredible, and I highly recommend everyone gives it a go. If you place a mobile order, your sandwiches are always ready on time. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. So far, every sandwich I've ordered has been made perfectly.
