This place is fantastic--both locations. Wet cold craft beer. Different beer and food menu across the two locations, and both are excellent, so try both. This is a can't miss if you're looking for an authentic local brewery. Home run

My wife and I visited this place for a few beers during a long weekend in Charlottesville, and what a fantastic discovery it was! We tried several of their beers, and when I tasted their strong ale, I was blown away—what an incredible brew! I ended up purchasing every bottle they had in stock, and I can't wait to enjoy one of them tonight. This will definitely be one of our go-to spots on our next trip to Charlottesville. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and it was a pleasure chatting with them. With great beers, wonderful people, and a lovely outdoor area to savor the beautiful weather, it was just a perfect experience!

I thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp tacos, and the beer flight was quite good too. My favorite was definitely the porter!

After a long day, we stopped by to grab a beer to go. They had a limited selection of prepackaged bottles, but most of the draft beers were only available in growlers. We opted for a growler, and the beer was fantastic. The total came to nearly $30, including the growler deposit. While the taproom didn’t have an atmosphere I’d want to linger in (it felt like a dim garage), I would definitely come back for more takeout beers.
