Ordered chicken curry and lasagna both with garlic bread, what we were served was almost inedible, curry was dry no sauce to speak of, lasagna was almost vegetarian due to the lack of meat and garlic bread was smeared with what looked and tasted like garlic paste, summed up in one word... . Horrendous.
Visited when the temperature was below zero and it was still lovely and warm inside. Breakfast was good. The orange hot chocolate did not taste of orange but we have previously had a regular and enjoyed this very much. Also really good buys in the garden centre!
The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of seating available at 9:30 on a Saturday, both indoors and outdoors. The hot chocolates were delicious, and the breakfast was lovely. I also appreciated being given extra bacon instead of the mushrooms I didn't want.
I had a fantastic lunch at Daisy's last week. I ordered a cheese and bacon panini with salad, while my sister opted for the chicken and bacon salad. The food was delicious and the portions were generous - so much so that we had to take leftovers home. The tearoom is located in Brooklea nursery and is definitely worth a visit.
