Went out to celebrate my husband's birthday and have a much needed break since we work everyday. An excuse for us to dress up and enjoy ourselves without customers, clients, or kids. As y'all know, I've been hospitality for years and eat out a lot and truly enjoy fine dining. This was a local spot and wanted to patronize a local business and keep our money local. Service was limited. We arrived 30 minutes early for our reservation so we can have a drink at the bar. Wanted to order an appetizer and was provided a menu but no one tried to check to see if we wanted to order. No biggie. Whatever. Went and sat at the table when it was time. Ordered the tomahawk because it was something I always wanted to share with my husband. Normally when I go out to eat my steak and seafood, I ordered whatever no matter how much it was or how big. If it's what I wanted, I got it. Informed the server we don't eat pork and ordered green beans. That appeared to have came out of a can with bacon on top. Tomahawk was ordered medium rare and more on the rare side. It came out instead of seared, pretty much crusted to the point of half an inch of it feeling like eating beef jerky which is well done. Middle was raw. Horribly cooked and expected something like that at somewhere such as IHOP or even Chili's. One of the worst dining experiences I've ever encountered. The portion of the sides is literally individual servings. 3 spoonfuls of mash potatoes like.
Ribs are awesome ! Lots of seafood on the menu too. REALLY worth the trip.
I was part of a large party. Service was excellent, they were accommodating for our needs, and the food was very good.
Catfish and crawfish were delicious. The ribeye was perfect, highly recommend.
