The food is delicious, with options like homemade chips, pie, crumble, and more. The homemade chips are particularly fantastic. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly. Overall, it's a great, cozy pub without any frills.
The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. The portions are both tasty and plentiful. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it.
I went for a Christmas lunch at this restaurant and was very disappointed. The turkey seemed reheated, the vegetables were tasteless, and the Christmas pudding was average. The pate starter was the only decent part of the three courses, but still just average. It was disappointing, especially since the pub has friendly staff. I paid £23.95 for three courses and was not expecting anything amazing, but I expected better than what we received.
Mandy and her team are the best. We visited the Travs for a birthday treat. The lamb shank was delicious and the lasagne mouthwatering. Portions are huge and cooked to perfection. Thank you for a delightful evening.
A great family ran business which serves great food and also has a wide range of drinks! I usually go for Madri on draft! The steak and ale pie is to die for and an added bonus having home made chips! Fantastic service and always served with a smile! The pub has been recently refurbished to a high standard and also has a large enclosed garden to the rear overlooking the rural views!
