The food was cooked to perfection and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about customer service. This place is definitely worth a visit.
This restaurant is absolutely stunning. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is top-notch. I tried the steak and ale pie with mashed potatoes and it had the best gravy I've ever tasted!
We decided to dine here last minute after finding out our usual restaurant was fully booked, and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the staff were attentive and welcoming. We all decided to order the roast dinner, which came with a delicious Yorkshire pudding. The portions were generous and the dessert we ordered was of a high standard. Overall, we were very impressed and are looking forward to coming back again.
We’ve been visiting the FB ever since Dickie took over, every few weeks. There is no other restaurant locally that comes anywhere near. The food is always consistently good, as is the ambience and the staff. We visited on Monday evening and had a superb...meal. The starters were amazing! A cheese soufflé was chosen by my OH and I had the belly pork. We followed up with venison and steak ale pie. Again both were beautifully cooked and presented. Certainly not your regular pub food, much higher standards and well worth travelling for.
