Kam Xin Chinese Takeway

Disgusting food. Ordered quite a bit of food for family. Did it via their app, told it would be delivered at certain time. Over 20 mins later I rang to ask where it was, rude girl told me driver was on their way, food turned up over 10 mins later. Well, it certainly wasn’t worth the wait! All of it was slimy. Fried rice clumped together, chips really overcooked, curry sauce looked like frogspawn was vile. Definitely will never go here again

We’ve been going to Kam Xin for years, beats all of our other takeaways we’ve tried. Can’t understand the poor reviews! Kam Xin is quite expensive, however it is the best Chinese takeaway we’ve managed to find in Chester and even after moving, we travel 20 minutes there and back to get it. Our favourites are the combo mix for 2 people, the wontons, salt pepper chicken, seaweed and chow mein. I would highly recommend to people, and would say it is worth the money.

Awful experience, waited an hour for 40 minute delivery and rang them to find out they hadn't even bothered to take the order off the computer system then took another 30 minutes to cook and deliver and dishes missing from delivery- NEVER AGAIN !!!

Yet again another delicious meal from the Kam Xin, we regularly get a take away from here, we have tried others but always come back as it tastes so much better, always fresh, hot good sized portions. Also very accommodating, leaving out chilli etc if requested. Would recommend, always busy, cannot understand poor reviews.

I recently ordered delivery from this restaurant and the ordering process on the website as well as the delivery itself went smoothly. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The chips were dry and seemed to have been reheated from the day before. We had to throw away three portions. The Chinese dishes were very greasy, including the salt and pepper chicken. I regret not reading reviews before placing an order. I will not be ordering from here again.
