We like John’s place, my favorite is the fried chicken sandwich, but have tested a few things at this point and never been disappointed

John's Place is one of the city's gems. Comfort food with a unique twist that makes the selections familiar, unexpected, and delicious all at the same time. The breakfasts are particularly good as are the lunches...well, and the dinners, too. Frankly, it is all really good, but if you are there for breakfast go with the Silly Good Donuts, the Crispy Brisket Palano Hash, and a **** Mary. Just sayin'.

Food is great, atmosphere is good but customer service is hit or miss. We had a great first experience with a younger woman.However, we have since called twice to place pick up orders and the person taking the call both times had poor customer service. They told us they didn’t have gluten free bread even though we had been the week before and did. When they went to check they stood corrected but no apology was there after making us feel silly for thinking they had it. Then we called again and tried to order something that they said wasn’t on the menu for a long time even though it was currently on the listed Google menu. No apology for the miscommunication which is on the restaurant to not correct the Google menu. It would be nice for the restaurant to have someone kind and pleasant to speak to customers.
