The view alone is worth it! Service, food, ambiance is beyond amazing !
The view of Chicago was beautiful. The service was great. But we were not impressed by food. My lobster bisque was lukewarm the ravioli of our daughter was dry didn't taste good. We had great hopes with our dessert, but it wasn't good either. The chocolate peanut butter cake was a ridiculously tiny slice didn't taste fresh at all. We didn't complain because we didn't look for a free meal. We knew the costs were eating there. Just disappointed with the food, especially because it was the first trip of my family to Chicago.
The service at the restaurant was not as professional as I had anticipated.
My friend and I came to dinner at the restaurant 2022. The lobster bisque had no lobster in it, the first-class certified Angus flat iron was Blande (came precuted in Sauce) and the dessert was a joke. The “Birthday Cake ice cream sandwich” has been described to have “confetti cookie crust, cake battery ice cream, warm vanilla fountain”. What I received were two overcooked funfetti cookies with vanilla bean ice cream that were stuffed between them. I was completely disappointed with this $60 meal. When we got the bill, there was an additional 20% service fee that was not mentioned at all on the restaurant weekly menu. It was made clear by our server that this is not considered a tip. Overall, the only positive thing in this place is the view.
