We booked a reservation for outdoor patio seating. When we arrived they tried to seat us in a cramped greenhouse that didn’t even have enough tables to seat our party of five. When we said we had booked an outdoor patio table and not one of the greenhouses (that require a food and bev min), we were told it’s all the same. We asked to move to a different greenhouse with a bigger table but it was still stuffy and cramped not at all the outdoor, open air dining experience we planned for. Eventually one of the few outdoor seating areas opened up and the manager offered to move us there. It was much more comfortable and had a nice view of the river. The only problem was it was sofa and fire table seating which would make dining a challenge. We decided to go ahead and take it. The atmosphere outdoors was nice and the drinks we ordered were good. But when we told our server that we intended to order dinner and just needed a couple more minutes, he never returned nor did we see him again. He finally came back to announce that our 90 minute reservation would soon be over and we needed to finish up. We explained that we never had a chance to actually order our dinner and without apology said he would talk to the manager. He returned and said the manager was giving him a “hard no” and said maybe we would have better luck if we tried talking to him. When the manager arrived, we explained the situation and were told that the best he could do was give us 30 more minutes. But he couldn’t promise that he would be able to get our food out in time for us to actually eat it. Then he said we could move indoors if we wanted to. We declined and asked for our bill, saying we would go dine somewhere else. He offered no apology, no complimentary anything. We spent nearly $200 and 2 hours and didn’t even have dinner. We were polite, not rowdy, a professional crowd. It was baffling. The manager insisted he had a bunch of reservations waiting. As we left there were 3 ppl at the host stand.
We were seated at the most hidden table in the back they could give us, we were given water and dipped before the server could come get our order. Glad there was a chick-fil-a nearby
Was a great experience. I loved the vibes. We went at night so it was a bit cold but I would definitely go again!
Service was absolutely horrible the server Felipe ignored us and then rushed us through ordering the host who I think was the manager also was way nicer and helped us way more than our server and then the bill comes with an automatic 20% service charge so now I’m realizing why he was so brash he knew he was going to get his tip from us either way. The food would have been good but it was brought out between warm and cold temp. Wouldn’t recommend to friends definitely would not go back myself
