However, I have to be honest about the steak; it tends to be a bit too chewy for my liking. Despite that, the overall experience at The Jibarito Stop is still a Puerto Rican culinary journey worth taking. They've got the rice and empanadas game on point!
I stopped in had a chicken Jibarito.. the sandwich was really really good.. but please go easy on the grease.. the bottom of the package was really greasy
Bistec encebollado was delicious. Tasty, tender, not spicy. Arroz amarillo delicious.
The staff was extremely friendly, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious.
I ordered the large rice and it was fantastic! The alcapurrias were delicious, but they could be a bit bigger for $2.99 each. The empanadas, also known as pastelillos, were tasty but could use a little more meat. Overall, the taste was 5 stars. The portion size was 4 stars. The service was 4.5 stars. The ambience was 5 stars. The location was also 5 stars.
