They have plenty of seating to wait and can seat you inside or out. The service is excellent, my host was lovely as well as my server, and checked on me frequently (but not too frequent or pushy), and helped me make decisions on their menu, which all sounds amazing. He HIGHLY suggested the shot (turmeric, ginger, citrus, cayenne and I’m missing something) which I had zero interest in, but turned out to really be quite good!!! I also had the honey lavender latte, LOVE. Thank you for someone doing this right in Chico! I just had to try the Coda Benedict with pork belly instead of ham. Other than needing to add a little bit of salt, this was excellent. And I live for potatoes so I was very excited to eat those crispy delicious potatoes. Will definitely be back!!
I have mixed feelings for café coda. I like the people and the food but there have been times when we just did not get any service. We have walked out twice because of that . I stopped by last week and the service was much better. I guess it is hopefully getting better. I had the breakfast burrito and it was good . A little sour cream would have been nice but I guess you have to ask for it separately. The potatoes were nice and crunchy on the out side. I like the coffee also, it was a bit on the strong side like I like it . Over all my last visit was good .
Beautiful patio, great service, food is expensive but the portions are gigantic.
Vegan chilaquiles 8.5/10 very good. Maybe a bit more chips more of the crema sauce or a better egg substitute could have raised it to a 10! Would be amazing to see more vegan options on the main menu someday!
Simple but very well done food. Excellent breakfast cook. I will be back. Delicious!
