It's a great concept. Not at all put off by the way capsule hotels work. This chain is pretending to be upscale to regular capsule hotels. Their model mimics the airline class schedule. They fail in that regard. If the mattress was half decent, I would have given them 4 stars. My back is still recovering from the lousy matress. Pay a bit more (or same in some cases) and stay at a business hotel that has all the amenities of a regular hotel, but in a campact square footage.
First time trying a capsule style hotel. Hotel. Location was a little confusing via Google Maps but is situated pretty near the station. Walking into the hotel, you are warmly greeting by the reception staff. The lobby itself is decent sized and has a pleasant smell. Staff Friendly and attentive. They can speak some English. Room. Refer to the video. I wanted the bigger room but they were fully booked. The bed itself is decently comfortable and spacious. There is no luggage locker so you have to place it right outside of your cabin. Just lock it up and it will be fine. I suggest wearing the provided ear plugs for a better sleep. Location. As stated, pretty convenient. Food wise, there are many options directly at central Akihabara.
I would consider this as a high end capsule hotel, it has space for you to keep and open your luggage in the capsule itself if you're staying at the first class cabin. Basic amenities provided and clean as well. This property is very close to Akihabara Station as well as bus terminal to Mt Fuji
A modern and 'luxury ' capsule hotel for those who want a capsule hotel experience but want a premium feel. Regular sized capsules are big enough to stand in, while 'Business Class ' Rooms have enough room for a small coffee table. Shared shower facilities have toiletries provided including towels, hairdryers and hair-irons. Coin operated washing machines and dryers are also available. Earplugs are provided for light sleepers. There is a TV (you have to use your own headphones) in each capsule. The hotel is located a short 5min walk from the Akihabara station.
