They were delicious and generously sized, although a bit messy to eat. The buns would benefit from a creamy sauce to help hold the fillings together, as they were quite full and some parts kept spilling out. We appreciated the convenience of having menus from all the stalls available at our table, saving us from having to roam around to decide on our order.
The Little High Eatery is a fantastic spot to enjoy delicious food, listen to great music, and chill with friends! With a wide variety of options, I have only tried the burgers from Bacon Brothers and a pizza so far, but I highly recommend this place.
I was in Christchurch for just one day and I am so glad I stumbled upon Little High Eatery. They offer a wide variety of vegan options across 8 different stalls, including burgers, dumplings, donburi, and pizza. My choice was Bacon Bros Burgers and I was not disappointed. I tried their 'Sweet Sweet Clo' vegan burger and it was amazing! The deep fried cauliflower side was also delicious. They can make all their burgers vegan with coconut bacon and vegan aioli at no extra cost. The atmosphere at this place is fantastic, making it a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink with your meal. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, although it can get quite busy at times. Waiting times for food can be long, but it is definitely worth a visit. I will definitely be back next time I am in Christchurch.
Best place for all kinds of food! Tried the vegan burger and got a hug which was fun : and had vegan pad thai which was to die for.
So far I've had the vegan burger from Bacon brothers and a vegetable tempura bowl from the sushi place. Both were great. This is a good place to catch up with friends as there is plenty of choices for everyone.
