Maid-rite - Christopher

I heard about the legendary Christopher Made-Rite since I moved to Southern IL 30yrs.ago. I had my first visit today. Unfriendly, indifferent staff. The only good thing I can say about all the experience is that the cakes are homemade and worth a trip there. Also check cash or just!!! the most rude, acting like the chief of them all, loudly announced to listen to everyone.

Maid rite delux with cheese and coconut cream pie was amazing and very reasonable, great service as well. So glad Eric took over, now its open till 9 pm. It's delicious. Go find out for yourself. You'll be glad you did.

Just ate here with my family and the food was good and for being newly opened the service was surprisingly fast! Would go again!

The old school retro look of this place is what got my attention. The waitress was very kind, it was earlier in the day and it wasn?t very busy at all. I ordered the signature Maid-Rite sandwich and their version of loaded fries. I found the food to be very bland and lacking any real flavor. Probably would not return if I?m back in the area

Man this place made me hurt myself. This food is exactly the guilty pleasure I needed. With the old horseshoe wrap around style dining. And they give you a generous amount of food. The two ladies that worked today were AWESOME they worked thier butts off...Great Service.Great Food A Long RedBearded Bandit
