Aunt Emmas Pancakes - Chula Vista

The restaurant is nothing out of the ordinary; it's just a casual eatery located underneath a Denny's. It felt overly crowded, and there seemed to be too many tables for the fire code.

This restaurant is crowded, noisy, and seems quite old and unkempt. The omelettes are excessively cheesy and not enjoyable at all. The coffee was burnt as well. The server was rude and dismissive, clearly overwhelmed by the situation. This place could really benefit from a complete overhaul and renovation. As for vegetarian options, they are limited and not well-prepared.

This is a first! Today, I sat at the counter to order my breakfast, and the hostess/server told me I wasn't allowed to bring in an outside drink. I explained that I'm diabetic and need sugar-free flavored creamer, which they don’t offer. If they did, I would have bought it there. Frustrated, I left and went to Denny's instead. For the past three years, I’ve brought my coffee in my YETI mug to every place I’ve eaten without any issues. After many years of dining at Aunt Emma's, I won't be returning! Unbelievable...

Received food quickly and on time. Food is great. They forgot to give me the side order I paid for otherwise this would have been 5 stars.

The food is not only top tier but so is the staff! I had a little of everything on their breakfast and i greatly enjoyed it every single time. And it's definitely reasonably priced! If you feel like going to an IHOP or Denny's, just don't. Come to this spot and enjoy yourself!
