Goldmine

Goldmine has become my new local. The food there is just fantastic and the coffee is great. Elisa and her team there provide a wonderful friendly, quick service and they cater really well for food allergies like dairy free food. Some of the best eggs in wellington. Couldn’t recommend goldmine more.

Here I ate the berry pancakes, and for $16 I was sooo glad i stopped by this place! One of the best soy lattes I’ve had is what I also drank alongside the pancakes. The dish was presented nicely, and the quality was super on the mark. Though I was skeptical with the interior looking mundane, the food and service is well worth coming in!

Try the Golden Zinger. Buttermilk fried chicken with fresh tomatos, new onions, gherkin on top for good measure. Finish with some Peruvian coffee. NYC vibe with an NZ twist. Bon appetit!

The service was good, the food was good and the coffee was excellent. In fact, the food was so good that I actually ate all of it before I had a chance to take a photo of it. 10/10 looking forward to coming here again for another delicious breakfast!
