I would recommend avoiding this restaurant due to its poor ambience, taste, and location. Only go here if you have no other options available.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while feeling hungry during our long journey on bumpy UP roads. We couldn't find any decent dhabas or restaurants from Nainital to Rishikesh, but this place on NH-74 was a great find. The washroom facilities were clean and they provided handwashing and drinking water. The restaurant follows the same concept as Haldiram but offers better quality food. The menu is extensive, with options ranging from Indian snacks like samosas and dhokla, to Chinese dishes like Manchurian and garlic rice, Tibetan momos, South Indian dosas, biryanis, Mughlai dishes, and a variety of authentic Indian sweets. They also make their own ice creams, cakes, and pastries, and have a party hall on the first floor. We tried samosas, veg momos, pineapple pastries, paan petha, and fresh curd. The pineapple pastry was fresh and delicious, costing only Rs 30 per piece. We loved them so much that we bought more to enjoy later. The paan petha was refreshing, and the fresh, thick curd served in an earthen pot was fantastic. We even bought some to take with us. If this restaurant becomes a national chain, they could easily compete with Haldiram's due to their superior quality.
