Artie's Steak Seafood

Visited for NYE dinner and it left much to be desired. Our waitress was nice (what I call “nice rude” where she’s nice and accommodating but in an aggressive almost rude way lol) but they had a different menu and she seemed very confused on what was available and pricing. Service too very long and we were constantly waiting for something food, drink, bread, etc. I didn’t find the tables that comfortable and it felt too small/tight for a group of 5. Overall, the food was decent. Prices were a little too high for the area (in my opinion) and sides were lacking flavor. My favorite dish was the crème Brûlée which may be the best I’ve ever had. My biggest annoyance (aside from the super delayed service) was the charging for soda refills. That seems silly and most restaurants don’t do that on city island. Not only did the drinks refills take forever but then you charge for them? Absolutely not. We left satisifed but a bit disappointed. We might come back. We’ll see…

Ask for Platinum Patty she is absolutely one of the best periodt!!!! Such an amazing service experience. Such a great experience from arrival to departure. The lobster was delicious and the drinks were strong....just the way I like it!

Server Brian was good. Not at restuarant before so might have not made good food choices, which were so so.

It is a wonderful place with an awesome staff and a delicious menu. You should stop by if you're in the area.

Wonderful variety of seafood and Italian staples. Portions are generous. We shared oysters and the half shell and the grilled octopus. They were both lovely. The new England clam chowder was excellent. Tasty pieces of clam were good. The cup will not be enough! The fettucini with shrimp and lobster in spicy marinara was very good and provided enough for a second meal.
